I have a AEM Cold air intake on my integra GSR. Can driving in the rain cause it to suck up water?

 

just make sure u got ur splash guard on, avoid puddles, and any other deep water sports and u should be fine.

 

If you have the splash guard you should be fine going in puddles cause my friends car, same intake with no splash gaurd drives in the rain fine but he stays away from puddles but you can't avoid them all and he hasn't had any issues yet.

 

Many have messed up their cars with the cold air intakes. Theres always a risk with the cold air intake + water.

 

the only way to suck up water is if the filter is submerged in water, according to AEM that is. I've never tested it myself though. Anyway, steer clear of deep water, and keep your splash guard on, you should be fine.

 

u can, but it's like taking a risk, so just be careful and avoid puddles, area's on the road where water can splash up, and etc . . . you get the idea.
