Where can i get one? Can I borrow one from AUTOZONE? I need to get those two ****** screws off my rotor so i can get them machined....One of the screws is stripped from the previous owner..........Help...

 

If you have a drill and a small drill bit, just spend 2.99 at OSH, or some other hardware store and buy some screw extractors, they work really well, I used it on my brake rotor screws on sunday, it worked great. Just gotta make sure you use a strong drill.

 

You can rent the Impact driver's at Auto Zone or even Advanced Auto Parts. I just went ahead and drilled the heads of my screws off...here's how I did it though. I started with a pretty small bit, and gradually worked my way up to a bigger bit that completely took the head off the screw. When i finally got the rotors off, i put a pair of vise grips on the piece of the screw that was sticking out, and undid it that way. I didn't have ot use and kind of screw removal kit. That's how i did it though.

 

you can rent one or buy one, its only like $10 i believe if you purchase one. make life a whole lot easier. i took off my rotor last time, and couldnt get it out, i used jet flame try to loosen it up still couldnt do it. went and purchase myself one, and took less then a second and pop right out.
