Default Illumina Question

I'm getting them installed Friday, I plan to drive upstate NY and test out my new redone suspension with a few friends. Some roads up there are like a giant track Anyway what setting would you guys suggest to try. Do I have to factor in that much of the roads are curvy, or just how well the roads are paved? Sorry I don't know a lot about them

Cant really tell you what setting to put them at, its really your preference. But a general rule of thumb is

Stiffer rear = Oversteer
Stiffer front = Understeer

I guess you should try front and rear at 3, then adjust from there. Thats what I did in my CRX, and ended up using 3 rear, 2 front for daily driving. I tried 4 rear, 3 front and it was still pretty nice, little on the stiff side. 5 rear, 4 front was a little too harsh for daily driving.

i'm doing 3 front and 5 rear. that allows for some interesting throttle lift, tail-out attitudes For daily driving, I usually have it on 1 and 1. depending on the roads I'm going to go on, I'll set it up for understeer 2f/1r 3f/1r or whatever, just incase something unexpected comes up. Whatever you do, don't do anything stupid on those roads. Have fun, though

I like a good ride, so I have mine all set on 2 right now since I drive 3 hours one way to visit my parents once or twice a month.. I still havent found the right spring/coilover rates for these illumina's yet...... For my daily driving though, I set them to 3 front and 4 rear.

set them on them on 3 front and rear .... have a friend in the back seat ... drive around some corners ... over some bumps ...launch ... whatever... and adjust stiffer/softer accordingly
