Default idle problem help! 93 DA

i have an 93 DA LS and my idle is bobbing as if i had a vacume leak. The idle is down to 1000rpm then its raises to about 2500. Wityh my exuast system this is getting old fast lol. I have done the following to try to fix this annoying problem.

.vacume leak test.....(no leak)
.ran all the air bubbles out off my coolant. (still idles funny)
.diagnostic check came up as o2 sensor. ( fixed that and still idles funny)

I am thinkin my throttle body or manifold is dirty thus ruining my IAC
(idle air censor) which i have purchases a new b16 manifold to put on and hope that when i clean my censor it will fix this problem. IF its not my IAC what do you guys see this problem being caused by????????? Thx for any opinions.

the knock sensor has nothing to do with idle.

check all your hoses. check the hose from the brake booster to the intake manifold.

are you throwing and codes? is your check engine light on?

if its not on, check all the hoses again. maybe try cleaning the throttle body plate.

what is the knock sensor's purpose??? when i had my b16 rex i was also idling funny, then i checked the cel codes and it was throwing o2 censor, but when i replaced them, i found that the cel codes were throwing knock censor and that was where i got ownd.

well if your saying you have an LS then the b16 manifold is gonna do nothing for you. since you can't use it. it's not gonna bolt up to your head. second the IACV is idle air control valve and i would bet if you either replaced just this or took it off and cleaned it really good it would fix your problem. i am not sure if your car has it or not but the fast idle valve could be a problem also.
