Icebox Dyno?
I've been thinking for some time about switching over from the AEM CAI to the Comptech Icebox. The advantages that I'm looking at are ease of filter maintenance and lower water-suck susceptibility.
Here's the problem, though... I hate to give up any of the horsepower gains I made with the AEM. I haven't seen anyone anywhere (including here) post a dyno comparison of the two intakes. Even Tuan's excellent review doesn't deal in actual numbers. Does anybody know of such information?
Thanks in advance.

I switched from AEM to Ice box.
I don't have a dyno but here is my take on it.
Ice box
1.less chance of hydro lock.I've driven thru lakes with this intake.
2.better throttle response, better low and mid range power except for the AEM hump.
3.almost just as good high end as the AEM.
4.very quiet, don't sound like your motor has gremlins in it.

Hey- just got back and saw this. This has to be the only dyno plot I've seen (outside of Comptech's) comparing the two. Thanks!
BTW- this looks like serious whp for the bolt-ons you're listing.
