so i was driving and then the speedo stoped working and a check engine. now i took the speed sensor off and the connector was all types of corrotted i cleaned it off and then i put it back on and still does not work so now i need a new one so i want know if anyone has one or could tell me a way to get it working without buying a new one thanks

i also wanted to kno if when i take the sensor off is the little thing inside suppsed to stay stil or inside of it b/c it is moving all around and come out

 

I would just stop by a junkyard. That's your best bet. From acura, for my 91, that wanted 225 for a speed cable.

Yeah, you need the sensor, the G2's used the cable. Stop by a junkyard. Thats going to get you one the fastest.

ALSO my brake lights don't light up when i hit the brakes, so i think it might be the sensor behind the pedal. i checked all the bulbs and replaced them and checked the fuse and that was good so i thought it was the sensor, i dont kno where it is or even if there is one but if anyone has a pic or something i would appreciate

edit i got a speed sensor so that is fine but i dont want to get rear ended
