get the security camera so you can watch it at night... and record it, but it wont prevent from theft tho...
maybe camera outside, so thiefs see it and wont come to your car....
they sell fake cameras as well...

if someone really wants your car...alarms dont do much. being paranoid and having your car prowled on...its all part of having a nice car. i know someone who has all this security on his car and he's so paranoid he even disconnects his battery and ecu and carries it with him inside. thats why you should go sleeper

Hey
i completely understand where u coming from! I tell u get as much security as u can, i used to be paranoid myself, everytime i heard a noise form outside i would go out to see if da car is still there. Thats what we get for having nice cars...we get them stolen ....
yup and so it did last night, my acura integra was stolen... i am sooo frustrated cz i know they're gonna find it all torn up found in some place. I was just about to get an alarm system its just been 2 months i got it, my first car....what good luck i have right! It was in great condition a 95...it had everything... new tires, rims, exhaust, muffler, bumper, shift ****, tinted windows, new paint, brakes, suspension dropped, all da lights were modified, da perfect first car to have.... maybe i should have at least got the lock bar for the wheel and da pedals... AT LEAST didnt even think of dat...all i know is da next car ima be even more paranoid... ya im in canada but we got idiots here too. All i can say is take as much protection for ur car as u can get if u "luv" it that much cz i sure did... and now its gone...and here police dont give a ****..i waited at da damn parking spot for more den an hour and a half...i called back dey hadnt even sent anyone by then, i coincidentally saw one passing and signed them...seriously what da heck are they good for... u gotta be careful for ur own ****.. lock everything and anything... the matter of the fact is that ur on ur own... so i know ill be walkin around with all da fuse and such...no matter how funny it looks... i aint takin chances any longer!

Going back to the original post.....

Wow, thats pretty odd...my car is the last thing I am worrying about now a days....you must not be very busy. If your car is insured and has an alarm..and all the goodies like a kill switch, fuel cut off, etc, that's all you can do. Stop worrying about it....if it happens it happens....can't really stop it unless you sit in it every night....

just my .02 cents!

Hey I fixed it for you! Now it doesn't look like a complete ******* idiot wrote it....just a somewhat idiotic person.

Way to bring back a 6 month old thread.

you can still go under the fender.. regardless what you do, your car will get jack if they really wanted it.. best bet is have full coverage insurance, or take out your ecu everytime you leave your car.. that what i do when im in a unfamilier territorie.. they can jack jack my system if they try.. but it'll take them atleast an hour to unbolt all the bracket. n try carrying a heavy *** box..

seriously I didn't come here to be judged, so i didn't properly type my words... i did it on purpose and what....what is ur problem? I like to type it that way since it's faster i'm not in a classroom where i have to write everything correctly... anyways i came here since i thought some people could understand me too... obviously this isn't what i expected, for everyone else as stated on previous notes... ur suggestions have helped for my next car, and for u "plastikowl"... next time instead of being a jackass why don't you try using ur smartass comments on somethin more useful... it's not helping anything...anyways good luck to everyone else...

You don't understand that it's mentally tiring to read that drivel. Nobody can understand that ****. It's ghettospeak.

Typically I can understand if someone talks like that, but it really doesn't say much about intelligence in general when you're typing the same way.

And as far as usefulness? It gave me something to do for a few minutes at work, and it was cheaper than a movie. Bite me.

I'll be nicer if you'll be smarter.

well I see there's really no reason to continue coming here... I tried to see if i could get some support from people who are going through the same experience, but as i can see this didn't bring any sort of comfort.

By the way, what your doing is just rude, what if i was a someone who didn't really know how to spell... you are a *****... and for someone who would like to speak intelligently seems as though there is a lot of immaturity in you. Shall we quote? "I'll be nicer if you'll be smarter." what are you 10? Don't worry though, i won't be coming back here any longer so don't bother replying. (Have you noticed? I thought i would spell my words correctly to avoid mentally tiring you.)

Thanks Threatcon13 I appreciate it

</TD></TR></TABLE> no problem. I mean if you look at the guy's signature, you can see what kind of a guy he is. Coming on HT to powertrip, put people down, read through "mentally tiring drivel" (lol, yeah, you forced him to read that right) , what a great way to live!

You don't even know me. But apparently you're some kind of relative to miss cleo to know 'what kind of guy I am'.

I don't know anyone that actually applauds ignorance. Do you?

I'm guessing you were all for introducing ebonics as an official language? My only point is, if you're posting on a public forum, why not type it in English?

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">

There's a difference between spelling words correctly, and typing like "you're from the streets y0!"

You obviously know how to spell. So I'm going for the latter.

And the measure of my maturity can be determined by someone other than you, or really anyone else on this forum that I don't personally know. Thanks.

Edit: In retrospect, my comments did seem harsh. Making a conscious decision to look uneducated (sorry that's the only way I can think of to describe it) is a pet peeve of mine. Sorry if my comments offended you. And to Threatcon, I realize I don't know you either...so I'll reserve any further comments. But don't pretend to 'know what kind of person' someone is, or to know how a person lives based on a few posts on the internet.

good day to both of you.
