I was wondering....If i had an LS w/ short ram intake, 4-1 headers, axle back exhaust, and pulleys.....what would be the approx. HP to the wheels/ crank.
Anyone have an Approx HP for an LS/VTEC setup???

You will realistically probably gain about mabye 10hp to the wheels at absolute best... bolt ons really and truely don't add near any horsepower, and together that stuff is a damn pretty penny unless you buy it all used... turbo is an investment you should look into if you really want more then 10-15 bs horsepower from all the bolt ons in the world.
yeah for some reason they wont make much more dyno power, but i have noticed a big difference in my track times with my mods.........but the disclamer is there are hundreds of factors going in to a 1/4 time....air temp, tires, driver, elevation, tire pressure, blah blah blah
What everyone else said. I dumped a buch of cash into my LS and I am pissed off at how slow it still is.
So I am building for boost! Just a few more months now!

If you do want to go all motor, read up on it.
You can spend thousands in boltons, only to find out your exhaust and header collector is two small (2.25 instead of 60mm or 2.5").
Also, alot of people do I/H/E and complain about spending lots of money and only getting 10-15whp. You really should do I/H/C/E. Doing just I/H/E provides increase in flow, but you still have a bottleneck at the cat.
Once you have I/H/C/E, you should look into doing this

On all exhaust Bpipes (including the aftermarket ones) there is a bottleneck at the flange which connects to the cat.
Many people are unaware of this exhaust flow restriction which can hinder the exhaust from extracting the power potential out of the engine.

If your not trippin about smog get the header that dc just came out with it is a race only header. it is a 4-1 with a straight pipe built on it it will give you nice top end you will also need an o2 simulator, but if you really want the power anything is worth it....
