Hi, I have a 1995 GSR sedan and the driver side window auto up and down stopped working. I can roll the window up and down but, like I said, the auto doesn't work. I was at the Honda dealer today and the mechanic said that it isn't the motor. He said the there a way to reset the auto, he tried to reset the way he would a Civic EX but, it didn't work. So. I thought someone here at Honda-Tech might be able to help me out.

 

I'm guessing the battery was disconnected at some point.

Most cars it just starts working again after a while.

 

Did not know a USDM 95 GS-R had auto up and down and only the JDM version had auto up and down I thought they just had auto down like my 94 RS.

I understand that the main switch will support both auto up and down functions with some mods.

Anyway, the auto down "function" on my 94 is controlled buy a relay in the drivers door switch, [main switch] I had to replace my main switch when my auto down function became intermittent. 94
