Ok so I'm about to start my never ending project on my integra lol, I'm was just wondering how much its gonna cost me to get my car converted to a rhd. I've look for this thread and didn't find it so can someone plz help

 

The labor is what's gonna cost you. The RHD clips are usually $300-$800 plus shipping. But the labor for it is gonna be alot. I had a shop quote me at $2k for labor alone, not including parts. I know PW:JDM sells the clips for a decent price, but if you're not in CA, shipping is pretty high. Get some quotes from some shops in your area and then just add that to the price of the RHD clip plus shipping and that will give you a rough estimate of what it is going to cost. I say rough, because that estimate will be if NOTHING goes wrong with your car where they wont need to buy anything else or do anymore labor then needed.

And going off your info, stating you live in OK, shipping will be $600. So you're looking at ~$850 shipped. And then added to the price of your quote for labor, will give you your final estimate. GL

 

man there are TONSSSS of RHD conversion threads in here and in the Appearance Build forum. You might try sending a PM to some of the people who are working on some of these.

Try doing a search for RHD, you'll find tons of results. I was gonna lock this up, but I guess I'll leave it open now.

 

sorry im new to this but im just trying to figure out how much its gonna cost because im doing this to a teg im bout to get cuz the rhd cars gonna be turboed and i dont want to have to it every day.im workin with a 7500 budget right now should i just buy a rhd teg or get it done

 

If you can find a good deal on a RHD teg for under your budget, then get it, if not, the conversion is the next step. Also you might wanna do what Patrick said about PM'ing some folks that have done it. Maybe even find someone in your area that would be willing to do it for less than a shop would charge. Maybe $1k even...which is better than most shops...although I don't know much about prices over in OK, but like as said, here in CA, Fresno to be exact, i was quoted to do my Civic for $2k, not including parts.

 

well i have till june to get it so no rush ive seen some rhd tegs for like 8k but there all sold and i can get 8500 but with my parents

 

RHD with JDM front end cost me $1,700. JDM CTR Steering rack was another $500 and it took me almost 2 years to track one down. Labor anywhere $2500 to $3500.

 

Its pricy, i got over 2k so far invested with the only labor of the welding i did the rest..

 

wow i think the clip is probally the cheapest part of it . i spent around 6 grand for my conversion . that includes painting the engine and both sides of the firewall . also was the wirring and all the welding

 

i would say buy a real one and sell ur old teg with the 7500 budget u have it will defenately cover it. depending acourse on how much ur teg is worth .
