How to install a cf trunk on a dc??
Iam about to purchase a cf trunk for my dc and wanted a little head up on how to install?remove it...I know the whole trunk portion must come off, but as far as removing the actual trunk from the glass?..is it screwed on?..clued?..any advice?
it's glued on with a rubbery sealant. if you're going for weight reduction i'd recommend getting some kind of plastic or plexiglass rear window instead of reusing the glass one, the heaviest part of the hatch is the glass.
I had a cf hatch and fal lexan glass on there. it had a little more road noise but didn't leak in the rain and didn't vibrate. I recommend the FAL lexan cuz then what is the point of just putting factory glass in a cf hatch
