Sorry if this topic has been coverd before... but I tried searching and couldnt come up with anything.

My maintence required light came on today and I was wondering if there is a way to get the code? and find out what the code means.

Or does this light just mean that I have a scheduled maintence coming up soon? I have 118k so I dont think there is any scheduled maintence anytime soon.

NEVERMIND JUST FOUND OUT HOW ON BSERIES.NET THANKS ANYWAYS

 

Yeah I made the post earlier cause I couldn't get the CEL code but anyway, on the passenger side panel right below your glove compartment, you should see a connector that's dangling (for my 93 it's gray). You short that with a piece of wire, and turn on the ignition ON. You should read a blinking light either on the dashboard or the ECU (mine didn't have an LED for the ECU)
