s100: you get this
s100 system - - speed limiter removed (if applicable), tunable fuel and ignition tables, expanded rpm fuel & ignition tables, VTEC control, adjustable rev limiter and Nitrous Control.
with the s200, you get full throttle shift, launch control, shift light, etc....on top of whats included in the s100. Thats why I said if your on a budget, you can just buy the s100 becuase the programs are the most important and its same as s200 model. After that, the other stuff isnt necessary but always good to have..

Honestly its also depends on your mods also. If you car is stock with no internal, I always suggest running your basic bolt ons, such as, I/H/E, manifold, stronger clutch, ignition sparks, and then work on getting cams, sprockets, valves springs, retainers......once your car is modified a little more aggresive that is when you want to run a obd1 ecu with hondata. The whole point of running a hondata is for tuning capabilities. If your pretty much stock, whats there to tune right? Remeber also, you need to go dyno tune your car to get your maximum HP and Tq. If you run hondata on a stock motor with basic bolt ons, dyno, and program your hondata, youll probaly see a few hp but say if you want to upgrade heavier itmes later down the road, you need to reprogram your hondata again becuase the old set up is made specifically for your old set up. Thats why its always best to get most of your mechanical items first and then run electrical items for tuning....

Use Uberdata, because you can tune your own car with a reprogrammable chip and the system is free minus parts to modify your ECU.
VAFC or the likes only allow minimal engine management modifications. Its nice for on-the-go modifications in a lightly tuned car, but if you want your car to run perfectly, buy a little dyno time and a wideband O2 sensor and go to town with fuel maps.

You definatley want hondata. With the your yr car the hondata you will need to purchase will let you datalog your base runs so you can see where ur losing power.
run crome.
or you can wait for Neptune....
you should begin by telling us what you have on your car.... it might not even need any sort of engine management at this point.
http://www.pgmfi.org is a good start too.
