honda-tech i need help
well my car has been shutting off lately, id be on the freeway or something and all of a sudden the car would turn off. ive checked the battery, distributor, electrical connection and a few other stuff.
im starting to think that it could be my alternator, what are ways to check if it works? i have a dmm, i turned my car on and checked the battery i got about 14.5 volts. i just let my dad borrow the car so he could go do something quick and i noticed that when her reved it the headlights got brighter? could that be something |
if u had a bad alternator, wouldnt your battery be draining out pretty quick?

What he ^ said. Just take it to Autozone or a similar store, they have a little portable machine that they can connect to your car. |
