Default hiding amplifiers

ok so i have this idea that i want my trunk back. i want to put a giant audiobahn amp into the back of the rear seats. has anyone done it? and also i would like to put another amp into the trunk panel on the hatch. has anyone done that yet? i mainly need some ideas as to how to fab the "box" in the rear seats and what materieals to use. and also how i would go about puuting an amp into the hatch as well. still of course trying to make this all "look stock" any help would be greatly appreciated on this.

I put mine under the front seats and ran the wires under the carpet, looks stock, as for the trunk, find someone who can fab and have them help you out, or post into the interior section of this website

dont put your amplifier under your front seat.. amplifiers do not cool well when mounted upside down which is how it would be mounted if under the front seat.. not to mention that there isnt too much airflow under your seat either..

I put it on the floor and yes it does have air flow, if not tell me why I have had it under there now for 2 years with no problems, learn about **** before you talk it

im not so much as hiding them, i want them in the seat and i'll proll put a piece of plexi over it.

as for mr. LSracing, dude, wtf is your problem. yes manuals say do not put under a seat, but whats the difference if it still getting the airflow it needs. and explain to me why audibahn is gay ****? what makes them gay? i don't see much difference in the performance between them and any other amps.

my problem is that people need to take the **** that i say in this thread and twist it around.. so now i have to defend myself.. and i say audiobahn is gay because its the quality.. people just love LOUD systems, right? thats not what makes it.. sound quality is key here as well as the quality of the unit itself.. there are many other amps with better quality at a similar price..

When installing my amp(I have an audiobahn) I talked to a car audio professional and he said that mounting under the front seats is common. Also with an audiobahn the newer ones have cooling fans so this eliminates most of the over heating threat. But about the back of the seat I have mine on the back of mine... just drill some holes into the seat and mount it where you'd like. Also if you wanna show it off fold the seat down

im an installer and yes, mounting amps under the front seats is very common. and how would an amp be upside down by mounting it under the seat??? if you mounted it under the seat ON the seat, then yeah you're a dumbass
