HID Systems?
I have HID's on my 94 teg. My passenger side bulb is out, and i was wondering if there was any way that i could check each individual part of the hid system to find the actual problem? I don't think it's the bulb but i'm not sure. The lights were on the car when i bought them. Please help me, i don't know anything about how these work and i want to test the bulb, ballast, etc... everything in the system to find the actual problem. Help! TIA
Mess with the wires a bit and make sure none of them are cut and double check that. I have a pair of 10k HID's and wen i bought my first car, i installed them and i have the same problem. I couldnt get an answer to your question but it can probably be the build and the wiring could be damaged

this is very easy to figure out and once someone mentioned that "put the bulb in the other side" I'm surprise you didn't clue in to... put the ballast into the other side.
If you have a good bulb and a good ballast here is what you do
1) take non working bulb and plug into good ballast. If light goes on... proceed to step two. If light doesn't go on, you need a bulb.
2) take known working good bulb and plug into unsure of ballast. If bulb doesn't light up, you need a new ballast. Please refer to step 3
3) Double check ALL your wires very carefully before going to get a new ballast. One might be cut.
