I don't believe the Gen2 have projector lenses....you'd probably be better off with SilverStars

There's a lot of people that use HID bulbs on their 1 piece headlights. All you have to do is aim it right. I wanna know if the bulbs would fit.

Your stock bulbs are 9004, and I assume the Cherokee has an H4 sealed-beam conversion. Although there are basically only two main types of HID capsules (D2R and D2S), HID kits are designed for different applications by providing altered bases on these capsules. Therefore, a 9004 HID kit has HID capsules with a 9004-style base, H4 HID's have H4-styled bases, etc. Trying to use the H4 HID kit in a 9004 housing would be like trying to install H4 bulbs in it. Depending on the kit, you may be able to purchase different "adapters" (although the better kits have molded bases, not adapters) that may allow you to use your friend's kit as-is. Otherwise, you could purchase new capsules designed for the 9004 application, which is probably what I would do.

Since you say his HID have hi and low beam capability, they are probably some of those new H4-based HID capsules w/ a servo to move the bulb forwards or backwards to change the beam from a high to low beam pattern. As far as I know these do not exist for 9004 applications, at least not yet. The 1-piece headlights take H4H bulbs, and you might be able to modify the opening in the headlight to take an H4 bulb or H4-based HID bulb, but I think it would be quite a bit of work.

ive tried silverstars before and do not think they are worth the extra money over a regular 9005 bulb conversion.

9004 Silverstars would be a total waste of money. 9004 bulbs suck.
