Default Help taking out axle nut

Hey guys!! I came across a problem taking off an axle nut. This is my first time trying to take off an axle nut and ive been trying to take out this indent for a long time, but i dont know how to take it out. I tried using a hammer and a flat head to spread them apart but it seems to not be working. Any body got any suggestions or tips?? Thanks in advance

Axle Nut Problem - Album on Imgur - Heres an album of what the axle nut looks like (i couldnt upload the files on here cause of the 5mb limit. sorry!)

you kinda mad it worse..... its supposed to have an indent on it. You need a 32mm socket and I would highly recommend an impact gun. I bought this one from Harbor Freight and they came off in seconds.

Just use a big breaker bar and put your arm into it. It'll still come off. You just punch the indent to keep it from BACKING off.

10.5 foot $10 breaker bar ftw lol.

I would just use an impact gun on it, if you do not have an impact gun just have a shop break it free, probably cheap enough.
It may sheer off the "dimpled" part so you may need to replace the nut, it's pretty well deformed anyway so just replace it. 94
