Default HELP! My B18C bogs!!

All of a sudden when I drove my car this morning it started bogging as I go up in the rpms. Check engine light is NOT on. At first I thought it was the plugs, so I replaced them with new ones. At low rpm, it runs cool, but as soon as I give it more gas or as soon as i hit vtec, it bogs to the point where it stops at a certain rpm, then goes up fast, then bogs again. If anyone could help, I'd appreciated it a lot.

Here's my setup.

'99 Civic Hatch
'94 JDM B18C
Crower Stage 2 cams
springs/retainers
stock ecu
i/h/e
skunk2 manifold
mugen gasket
jg cam gears

Double check your oil level.

yea check your distributor if the engine has high miles then the internals of the dist need to be changed. also if you changed your plug wires then put the stock ones back on and go for a test run or else go buy some new ones and try em and if it doesnt help then just clean them up and return them. and vtec does need oil pressure to operate properly so make sure your not low are out of oil. these should be the obly things that coudl be wrong. spark plugs are a possibilty but i doubt it. if it were a broken spark pluge then it'd sound like a lawn mower and shake at idle.

my dad said its the spark plug wires. i remember when one of the spark plug wire ends were fried on my old accord when i had jacob's ignition..i was basically running on 3 plugs. my civic RIGHT NOW feels that exact same way. we'll change the wires and see whats up. the engine has less thatn 15k. it had 8 k when i bought it. so the internals are still good. also, i just replaced the ignitor.

I had the same problem a few months back... I also thought it was the spark plugs but it turned out the be the fuel filter. I went ahead and got my 90k tune up at 85k and the bogging was gone. Try changing the fuel filter.

Mine bogs just a little bit on cold start, but as soon as the engine is warm, its fine. The bogging only happens when getting out of first gear. I'm gonna replace my dist/cap/rotor as soon as money permits. I'd suggest doing the same.
