i'm about to buy a comptech cat back for my 98 gsr but the exhaust is for the ls models. I know i have to get an extension of some sort. The idea that i have now is to go to a muffler shop and have them make me a peice of piping with flanges on the ends. That way i wouldnt have to modify the comptech B-pipe. What are your ideas on this? How many inches of piping (length) will i have to get? thanks in advance.

the muffluer guy will know, good luck with the comptech b-pipe, it been known to break internally and rattle. Like the way mine did, but it was still within the first yr so they replaced it for free.
