help!!! code 67, can't fix, did everything.
I've been a member for a while but this is my first post. I love learning from such high level tech site like this one. it's tought me alot. I have a 2000 GSR.
anyways, I had my check engine light on since diesel was put though the motor. (don't ask) well, the code 67 came up. (cat converter deterioration or O2 sensor). I got the fuel lines cleaned and I've presently changed the cat converter with a Random Technology cat (which by the way, sucks since the heat shield started vibrating after 2-3 days after install but none the less, should do it's job) and changed both O2 sensors, a factory Honda one in the front and a Boch on for the back... but the engine light is still on!
what else might it be? what else can diesel distroy? can it be an ECU problem? maybe changing the ECU could help? maybe the new cat sucks? any suggestions would be highly appriciated.
thanks

yes, reset it MANY times. the check engine light is not what bothers me. it can be on for all I care, it's the fact that when it's on, it tends to make my fuel really rich and make me lower than most common LS. kinda degrading for a GSR.

i had a code 67 also but it happened after i got my exhaust changed and when they did it the O2 sensor touched the heatshield and screwed everything up
....starter, alternator, battery, guage cluster (i have to be goin like 10 mph before it jumps up and when it is hot it doesn't move sometimes til i hit the dash) i still need to get the sensor changed. i get like 240 miles a tank......if i get lucky.
so you're saying that a code 67 could be much worse than just the cat or O2 sensor? my milage is completly shot too, which is why I'm not down with driving my car, doing 5 miles a gallon or something stupid like that. anyone else that could help? or have a 00-01 stock cat converter for sale?

you think? I'm not too worried with that O2 sensor since I only found out lafter I changed it that it doesn't trigger that code. only the O2 sensor on the acutal cat is important when it comes to code 67 and that one is a Honda product.
