Help, Clutch Problems!!
I've been having some problems with my 2000 GS. I was driving home the other day and it suddenely became really hard to shift. Barely got it back, first thing i checked was the fluid. It was low so I refilled it but the problem persisted. After I drive for a bit the engagement point sinks to the floor and i can't get it into gear when it's moving. Sometimes when i'm sitting still in gear with the clutch fully depresses the idle is rough and the car wants to move forward.
I have bled the system multiple times. I changed the slave cylinder and rebled the system as well. I am still having the problem. I have done plenty of searching and for most if this did not solve the problem, it was something with the clutch spring or the whole clutch had to be replaced. I do have ~130k, and the original clutch as far as I know.
How do I know if my clutch spring is not in the right place? Where should it go? I cannot find a good DIY for changing the clutch. Can anyone help with a link?? I have done it one my 96 civic, but with help from a friend.
Thanx for any help
