HELP 1995 TDC sensor CELL
TOP DEAD CENTER SENSOR CEL is on in my 1995 acura.
I'm assuming after research this is caused by the timing being off.
maybe I'm wrong but I've had it now for quite some time.
When I goto turn on the car it takes like 4-5 seconds for it to start after winding.
Anybody know how to fix this? or is it as simple as turning the dizzy to advance it?
I'm gonna pull off the head in a few days to do some work, such as valve lash adjustment, timing belt change and water pump//thermostat replacement//seals/o-rings/gaskets.
So I was wondering if I should touch anything while this is off. lmk thanks guys.

Does it still start? I had the same thing happen to me, but it went away after I checked everything and reset the ecu. But there is still some lag when I go to start it.
oh yeh it starts fine after like 5 seconds of winding lol.
runs perfect
nothing is wrong with the engine
there is no problem its just so much lag in starting...
and throwing the TDC sensor cell
resetting ecu doesnt take it away well it does but it comes back obviously.
no other codes. had it since i bought the car 3 years ago lol, its just really annoying me latly since the car is all done now and looking good and takes 5 seconds to start. wtf.. know the feeling? ;p
sum1 has suggested replacing my dizzy, but i have yet to do so.

bump for the same problem. mine dosent quite take 5 seconds to start, but it definately takes longer, car runs fine, cant get rid of this code. Tried 2 different dizzys. using rywire jumper obd2-obd1 harness
What code # do you have. In the dizzy is the cam position sensor which is used in junction with the crank position sensor (if equiped).
When the car is running dose it ever miss?
Your tach dose it ever jump around to random rpms?
