I have a 2000 teg SE with a cold air filter. What kind of gains should I expect from a new header??? Just wondering what to do to my car this winter.
Thanks
Thanks
Intake/Header/Exhaust systems only give about 10 whp....
Letting the engine breathe is just the beginning of getting power out of our hondas. In order to get real power, you need to spend some real money.
I recommend doing suspension first. You'll notice handling instantly, versus spending a lot of money for a few barely noticable horsepower.

Actaully I'm getting lowering spring this winter and also looking for some sway bars. Any suggestions on sway bars (front or back or both) and which companies should I be looking at.
Thanks

A header by itself? not a whole lot. Time to start thinking about the exhaust system as a whole. Each part acts as a system, and as a system you can get good gains.
A proper I/H/C/E system can result in 15-20whp if it fits your engine package and you use highquality parts. Sure, a DC 4-2-1, AEM CAI, Carsound cat, and 2.25" catback probably won't... but a Hytech h/c/e system with a good intake probably will.
