Looking at pulling a GSR head off of a GSR with a spun bearing in the junkyard. I'm pressed on time with two weeks to replace a tranny before the warranty is up, so about how long does it take you guys to pull the head off with IM still attached?
shouldnt take that long , id say if you took your time it wouldnt be more than 2 hours at the most . the intake mani bracket is always a bitch to take off
If you haven't done one before, it might take a couple of hours. It's just finding all the nuts and bolts you have to remove.
Not that difficult, except when you encounter stupid tight bolts that you can't get off.
Grab a few buddies and it'll be quick.

shouldent take that long
if you take you time maybe a few hours
all you got to do is take off the cams then you have access to the head bolts. and disconnect everything going to the head and your done

I would say unbolt the intake mani if you guys have small limber hands. Otherwise yourre gonna hafta take off a lot more and even get under the car for the intake manifold bracket

I found pulling the head on my gsr was quite easy. I putzed with it for like an hour before my buddy got there and then we pulled it off in about an hour. so 2 hours total.
