Ok i tested my cousin's integra and his shifter very smooth and he has some generic short shifter. I have a better clutch than he this and he even said. But however i have a skunk2 short shifter and most of the time when i hit it to 3rd gear it gets stuck and i know i hit the clutch when i shift. Could this be the gear box?

So when your driving regularly is it still hard to go into third?

yes it either gets stuck and when it does i put it back to neutral then put it to third

i had the same problem, something inside my trans was shot and i blew my trans BUT before thinking worst case senario, check your trans fluid level, and make sure that when your putting it into third that the shifter or linkage isnt hitting somthing under the car.
