Currently im a dsm owner (eagle talon awd). Im going to sell it and in the mood to get a integra. But I cant find the differences between the type r and gsr. I see like a 10 hp difference. What else is different about these two. Which one should I get.

If you dont know the difference beteen a GSR(B18c1) and a Type R (B18c5) then you have a lot of research to do.
Do a search and check out the different posts, you will find the pro's and con's for each car. They both have there ups and downs, basicaly turbo/FI or NA.

some will say that its impossible to make a gsr as good as the type R is stock. and then some will say the type R is just a gsr with couple better parts and bit ligther.

There have been alot of nice ITR's for sale on this board. Check the Type R forums and classifieds. Its not hard to find a great one but it does take some work. Good luck.
itr's are all over the local markets lately. i'd snag one fo those up in a heart beat. also the insurance is not as high as the gsr-because its not the most stole car int he us only the gsr is.
the ITR has slight higher hp and less luxery option. The gsr is slightly slower but has more luxery options (its a combination of the type R and the GS) like leather seats and a sunroof. I would get the ITR just for bragging rights. Everyone has a GSR, not too many have a ITR.

i think theres a few in the itr forum for sale . good luck thoguh.
the ITR is much better then ther GSR for many reasons. . . . but if i were you id keep the DSM . Youll go faster for less. trsut me .

yah, the itr is far different than the GSR, while there is not a huge hp difference, the suspension setup, and the transmission are vastly different than in the GSR. While you sacrifice luxury in the R, you gain things that would be hard to make up for as far as the tuning goes. Go with the R!!
Test drive both, gete on the gas and take it in and out of turns (at a high rate of speed) be the end of your test drives you will pay a little more for the TYPE R. which has better re sale value (limited production vechicle) TYPE R~

Type R - hands down... I believe that the legacy of the Type R for imports will be like that of the GTO for the domestic...
Never thought about it that way....
If I could, I would trade my GS-R for an R anyday if I had the money...
