gsr tech ?
vtec cross over is around 4400. what you are hearing at 5800 is the secondaries opening. do a search for gsr intake manifold and you will find out what secondaries i am talking abot.

These posts always just throw me off.
To set it all straight for the 10th time this week:
VTEC - 4400
5800 - Secondary Butterflies.
5800 does not equate to vtec. They are different processes. There is no fully engaged crap at 5800. vtec is "fully engaged" when it turns on the first time @ 4400.
Period. Your car is fine. Youre just assuming that that sound is vtec. Its not. Its the secondary butterflies on your IM opening. The vtec crossover is not poignent on stock cam GSR.
