Default gsr tech ?

ive read a couple articles on here about there gsr's vtec x over being lower than mine. bone stock 95 model and it kicks in at 5800, is this normal?

i know when u feather the gas vtec kicks in later than normal

the vtec cross over point begins around 4400 -4800 (roughly)and actually is fully ingauged at around 5600 rpm.... that is when you hear the vtec.

vtec cross over is around 4400. what you are hearing at 5800 is the secondaries opening. do a search for gsr intake manifold and you will find out what secondaries i am talking abot.

These posts always just throw me off.

To set it all straight for the 10th time this week:
VTEC - 4400
5800 - Secondary Butterflies.

5800 does not equate to vtec. They are different processes. There is no fully engaged crap at 5800. vtec is "fully engaged" when it turns on the first time @ 4400.

Period. Your car is fine. Youre just assuming that that sound is vtec. Its not. Its the secondary butterflies on your IM opening. The vtec crossover is not poignent on stock cam GSR.
