Default Greddy SP2

Thought that I would give some Integra guys the look of the new SP2.

I searched and searched yesterday and could not find it for the life of me.

I love it, very authoritative, but humble. It is alot quieter than my Evo that tended to get fairly loud over the past 2.5 years. I love it!!!

if it's the same as my Greddy SP1, it should be 2.36"

Very nice bro....would you know how that compares to the greddy SP1? The only comment i can make on it is the muffler piping looks thinner. I like how the Sp1 muffler piping is thick...makes it look more 'expensive'

****pulled from the website****

The new SP2 also features thick walled (1.5mm), polished 304 stainless steel mandrel bent piping for better resonance and vibration control and enhanced corrosion resistance and durability.

i've gone through the jdm Trust SP, and the usdm greddy sp systems....both mufflers have fallen apart internally on me.....I'll never buy a Greddy SP system again........there was a thread about this a long time ago, and other greddy sp owners had the same problem..i emailed greddy about the problem, and no response.......but if your happy with the sp, then by all means, more power to you....just my .02

i had the SP1 and i loved the way it looked and sounded...that is until my resonator turned to **** and so did the muffler. I hope your SP2 holds up.

The new SP2 is entirely stainless, so it should be more durable than previous Greddy exhausts.

At first it sounded raspy and cheap, but now it's fine. Nice deep tone. I'm relying that this SP will hold up well and the 5??(or 3yr??) yr warranty. I agree, the previous SP crapped out on me several times-rusted out resonator and muffler.

Are you running the SP2 with or w/o a cat? How does the loudness compare to the RSR ExMag? Also, if you're running with a cat, do you think it will still be quiet without one. Thanks

I'm using a test pipe with my sp1 and it's actually on the quiter side. It's definitely louder than with the cat, but not as loud as, say, an apex'i N1 WITH a cat

I am running it with a stock cat. It still retains alot of the low tone that my Evo had, it's just that so far it is alot quieter than my Evo.

Before my Evo exhaust would over power the sound of my engine, now I hear my engine alot more than I hear the exhaust. And it also doesn't resonate as bad on the freeway, while cruising.

.....oh and yes that is 712's in the snow. It's not that bad, that's just in my driveway, most of the streets are cleared that day. When it's over an inch of snow, I just roll my girls 97EX Civic with some Firestones that absolutley rock!! (Afterall, you never know how much control you have, until you have lost all control!)
