got owned on the freeway
man i got in a wreck sat. on the freway and my car got owned kinda..here is what happened, just cruising along and some bgirl in an old *** cadi decides to fly into my lane while i was in it (she almost hit me) so i swerved very hard and hit the brakes- we all know what happens in this situation...i started drifting towards the guard rail so i counter steered and started drifting back across the freeway then started to spin and hit a car then came to a stop....it was not koo at all, i was even driving at a safe speed but anyways the cops came there was a witness and nobody has insurance but me..still waiting for the police report but the chp said that i wasnt at fault but they still need to investigate a little more...all in all i need a new hood, bumber and maybe some frame work to align it if it is bent. im going to take it apart this weekend and see if i can fix some of the hood alignment and the light that is pushed in, but ya i hate ppl without insurance and cant drive

That sucks, sorr to hear it. What happened to the lady that swerved at you? Most likely if she wasn't hit, she probably took off. Stuff like that pisses me off and really think that if someone is coming into my lane I'll take the hit from them and make sure they get charged.
if someone is going to hit you (unless its a head on collision) just let them hit you...never ever swerve to avoid someone else hitting you, chances are youll hit somene and end up causing an accident and it will be your fault, and if youre in a lane and someone comes into your lane and hits you its their fault 100x out of a 100x...good rule of thumb to follow is if you are where youre supposed to be and someone hits you its their fault.
to my surprise and to the chp's surprise she actually pulled over stayed there she kinna felt bad but thats too bad and the cops said that i should have let her hit me, but it was a natural reaction to swerve and also she would have fukin killed me ten times over but ya it sucks because she doesnt have insuranceand the other guy is trying to go after my insurance for hitting him while i was fuking spinning out of controll fukin knuckle head
isnt it illegal to drive in CA w/o insurance? so not only is she driving w/o ins but driving on a suspended reg because ins is tied to the reg right?

well i feel for ya bro... and if that much front end damage was done... perhaps u can get urself a jdm front heheeh.... or not. but as far as lettin someone hit u goes... i kno that in some situations it might seem more practical to let it happen... but i love my car and as much as i would like a fresh coat of paint and maybe a jdm front end or watever... when things like that actually happen i dodge dat **** like i would a horny fat girl.
ya mang im going to at least get a cf hood because it is cheaper than a new one and havin it pianted and if she does come up with some money i will have my buddy's shop hook me up on her dollar but ya imma try to fix as much of it as i can but it still sucks..oh and i gotta try to dodge that shiit its just a natural reaction ya feel but thanx for the sympathy you guys are koo
well i dont know how CA is but i know in MA the very second your insurance expires the ins co sends a message to the state rmv telling them you dont have insurance and they cancel your registration immediately
and since you have to bring insurance with you to get your car registered you really cant get a plate w/o it and even if you had a plate that wasnt insured it would be illegal
and why would you wanna drive around w/o insurance anyway

Sorry to hear about the accident. Did everyone involved come out of the accident ok? Well as far as swerving and not swerving I guess the options would have to be weighed. As said above if you don't swerve then no doubt it will be the other guys fault. I mean if it's late at night and nobody else is around I think it would be ok to swerve because the chances of avoiding the accident is better than if somebody hit you which would have a higher risk of injury. Then again if you swerve hard it might cause you to spin out or something and hit a wall/guard rail and the other person would get away with it. I guess the point is always try to be aware of the surroundings.
currently NH and AK are the only 2 states in the nation you can drive without insurance, but even where I live in NH if you have a bad enough driving record the state will require you to carry it to even have a license. also if you have any type of at fault accident uninsured youll be required to carry insurance
