car is a 90 teg with a jdm b18 b ls ,idles high at 2300 and now started blowing smoke nasty smelling smoke , could bee running rich ,no coolant loss and runs fine just blows smoke when driving want to do a rebuild but don't know if type r pistons will fit on ls rods and will they clear the valves and not screw anything up. need info, any ideas what prob could be
