i'm buying a second car because one just isn't enough.it's a 91 integra with a 99 gsr in it.is it possible to get it barred?it's all USDM but the only thing is i don't have the paperwork for the motor, i ran the motor through carfax and it's legit but no receipt or documents for it?will this be a problem when i go and get it barred?oh and one more question, my friends who has a 99 prelude SH swears he would beat me if i had that car.who do you think would win?he's stock by the way

if the motor's legit, it shouldnt be a problem getting it registered at the BMV if thats what yer asking. just as long as you dont live in cali, you can just say it has a stock motor. you should never have a problem with this unless the laws in your area say that you must have proper documentation, in this case they would check.
just ask around and see how your buddies registered their swaps. insurance and police wont mess with ya either unless you get in A LOT of trouble in the car.

 

as for the prelude, it is heavire than the teg, but i think it has a little more horsepower. that race might depend on the driver.

 

I think you can get it barred since the engine is newer than the car.. not sure though.
