my gsr in 2nd gear redlines at 60 mph and 3rd at 80 mph. Is that normal cause my friend says his shift points are different.

 

stock tranny on a g3 gsr should be about a hair over 60, like 62 or 3 for 2nd gear redline and 3rd gear should be at over 90 mph at redline...

If you redline at 80 in third you have an ITR or SI tranny. GSR should hit about 95 in third. And about 62 or so in second. I have had an ITR tranny for about a month. I am not sure if I hit 60 in second. I have stock redline still.

Nope. Did you buy the car new? Check for your vin on the tranny housing also.

When you jack up the front end, if you spin one wheel and the other turns the opposite direction then you have lsd. If not then you have an SI tranny.

 

I always thought I redlined at 90 in third on my gs-r. Are you guys sure it's 95?

 

My second gear redline is around 67 and my third gear redline is 91.
