hey guys, i'm rather new to this forum but i figured this was a question that i had to ask. I currently own an integra gs-r, if my signature is right you can see the pic.

I am trying to find the names of the hardware used to move and store an engine to build up. I know one tool lifts the engine out of the car and the other holds it steady through a clamp I believe. I'm also wondering how much these two pieces would cost. If anyone has a general idea/estimate that would be great :D

Since I'm new, I guess i'll post my current plans. I am going to keep the b18c1 engine intake, but stroke and bore/blueprint it. This will happen after my mass array of modifications. I don't know if this has been answered or not, and I will continue my search, but I was also wondering which modification would be more bang for my buck. a new skunk2 intake manifold or itr cams?

An engine hoist (a.k.a. cherry picker), an engine stand. If you don't know the names of basic shop equipment then why are you planning to do work to your engine. I'm not trying to discourage, but there is a lot of research that you will have to do. My suggestion is that you wait until you have set some goals, and then research the best method of modification to help you reach those goals.

Welcome to Honda-Tech.

I remember when I first came to honda-tech about a year ago; my first post was about how i wanted to get a crower stroker kit. Since that day Ive learned 300% more then what I knew back then. Right now Im building for boost because I found out how much cheaper it was and not only how much of a pain/cost to do a kit like that.
I as well dont want to discourage you but why not just drive your gsr, do all the bolt ons, and then after a year or so of being active on honda-tech.com youll learn a lot more, make new friends, and even find some ppl that would want to help you rebuild that beast! Welcome to HT. Always search first cause itll save you alot of grief in the end. Good Luck, Have fun!
