Default flood damage

what a shitty night! my wife put my gsr through 3ft of water last night it was pouring and we couldnt see anything.so we come down this hill(sweeping righthander)and boom, water shot like 15ft in the air.when we stopped, water was covering the headlights.water was coming in around the doors and i could the exhaust was bubbling.so i get out to push because it would not move.we get it out and i open the door and water pours out!all my cd"s were floating, yea it was a crazy sight!so i limp it home,it was missing and cutting off all the way.so my question is-is it totaled, its worth 7500 i think.the water was up to the center console, everything soaked, hopefully the motor isnt that messed up.anybody ever had this happen?

I can just imagine that ****.

Do yuo have a CAI? Hope not.

Wait a few days and let her dry out. Start her up and see. If she still doesn't turn over. You prolly bent a rod and hydrolocked.

Yes it's probably totalled. It you add the cost of the engine and the cost of your interior it usually makes the car totalled. If that's the case buy it back and fix it up.

your insurance company will write your car off if you have coverage.

bring it to a body shop or to your mechanic. explained what happened and file a claim. no police report is necessary with flood vehicles.
