How do i take this part off to install the CF lip from VIS??

is that another ABP teg i see?? looks great with the wheels. keep it clean because there are so few of us out there

edit: what suspension setup are you running?

 

nice wheels. i havnt seen them with the polished lip. good look.

 

h&r sport wid tokico illuminas wid an ingalls camber kit......took forever to find someone to give me an alignment!!!

i still wanna know how to take that stock lip off to put my CF lip. its a vis. ppl on here told me that i dont have to take off stock lip? forreal? anybody wid the vis CF lip need hellp!

 

im not sure, but for your two peice bumber you use double sided tape and a few screws on both ends. it goes right over the existing peice.

Take those mudgaurds off

The lip will add on to that piece, you dont remove it. Maybe to install it but the Vis lip wont replace what you circled Not sure if thats what you meant or i got confused.

 

yeah you dont remove the bottom part of the bumper... the cf lip goes over your stock bumper.. it sits really low i wish i had a picture of my friends.. i only have a pic of another buddys 98+

 

 

Just jack up the car a little in front, and go underneath. From the backside/underneath you will be able to remove the clips/nuts that connect the two pieces. I cant remember but it think theres 2-3 on each side.

Maybe someone else can chime in. It's really simple just crawl underneath and you'll see what im talking about.

 

you don't take off that stock lip, you just wrap the VIS Lip around it, and bolt it from underneath

mine was a really tight fit, so i used a hairdryer to get it warmed up and it slid right on. good luck.

Krylon Stained Glass paint is what many use.

come to my shop we'll align it( but were in NY)
