okay my co-worker is buying a eclipse gs-t
which is stock on some 18 inch rims
cars.com say they have 205-210 hp and Curb weight 2,899 lbs

my car is a 94 LS with a GSR tranny Greddy exhaust and headers with a AEM short ram intake (soon to be CAI)on some GSR blades

now i pulled on a 3000gt with a exhaust and CAI they have a little more HP then the Eclipse but the GT wieghs 3,252 lbs
i also beat my friends NA eclipse

my question is will i beat or be even or loose to my co-workers stock GS-T?

i know you guys will say go race find out but
he wants to race for $200 and he wont shut the f*ck up about how his car is so fast and i dont want to loose 200 bucks if my car wont beat him or pull even
ill race him anyways but im not going to say ill race for 200 if he will win

i might be posting this in the wrong thread to so sorry

plz help what will happen and we are going to race at a track not the street

naw dude i wont race him on the street only a the track
i drove with him before in his civic hatch and hel is plain crazy on the streets he scared me half to death so i told him only at speedworld

damn i was hopeing since he as alot more wieght(car,18's,4 12inch subs,2amps,4tv's..etc) and **** then i could take him
what would i need to beat him
i buying a CAI what else would i need to beat him?

+1 for VTAK won't save you.

The gs-t should rape you even if he goes from first to fourth. With bolt on's on an ls you would be lucky to break 160 hp without cams or internal work( maybe you might with a badass tuner and alot of money on your side). Have fun racing him but i wouldn't put money on it.

Theres a good chance that if that GS-T has anything done to it, he'll take your cash easy. Stock...he'll probably still walk away from you. Don't get caught up on the weight of his car. 2.0L Turbo Vs. 1.8L ~ Stock

he's the one who wants to bet money I dont since i kinda had a feeling a turbo car will beat my na integra

i been looking into Nitrous since its cheap but need to read more about it

also i can do
Cams something web cams
Valve springsskunk2
Intake Mani skunk2
T-body skunk2
and a good tune
and be right around 2k for all parts/tune i think
or b16head and be like 1k in parts or something i forgot

what should my car be running in the 1/4 with the I/H/E gsr tranny?

the gst is stock plus a system(heavy box 4 12's(jlw6) and him(205)/passenger(250) on some chrome 18's and

i have i/h/e and gsr tranny on some light wieght 15's

Even if he is completely stock with extra weight/rim size, you're looking at getting beat by about 1/2 sec. or more in the quarter mile. That's quite a bit.

Also I think 3000GTs are closer to 4000 lbs.

this thread is retarded.

First you say it's stock but w/ 18's and you post the curb weight you found on the intArw3bs, but then you say it's got subs, TV's and all this other crap.

You will probably still lose.

I beat my friend's stock GS-T in my stock GS-R, but only just barely, and he had also just bought it, and had previously been driving an automatic Corolla. But yours is an LS, with probably no more than 150 hp at the crank. You will still lose.
