What is the point of extended wheel studs..such as skunk II? thank you.

well the point of wheel studs for most of us here are for running slicks. When using racing wheels such as Bogart racing wheels, track rules require you to have a longer stud that extends past the lug nuts.

the wheel spacer thing is true too, but i doubt alot are using spacers on our type of wheels.

yup , yup .
track wont let you race if you got like bogart style wheels without them . the stock studs dont extend far enough.
plus they are stronger. the skunks i think are magnesium .so they are alot stronger
