Exhaust install
What is necessary for an exhaust install? I am putting a stock exhaust system back on and wanted to know if I can reuse the old bolts and if I would need any gaskets or flanges?
Thanks!
Thanks!
The stock exhaust system consist of 5 bolts/nuts.
2 (plus springs) for the B-pipe to rear Canister connection (and a donut gasket that should be fine)
and
3 nuts that attach to the B-pipe to cat connection with a gasket ($.89 from Autozone...I have an extra here).
The bolts/nuts all rust and are cheap enough to make buying new ones worth while.
From there you just hang the exhaust on the rubber hangers...4 (5?) in all.

Two bolts w/springs for the axleback to b-pipe. Three bolts and nuts to the cat, with a 2" gasket.
*Interesting though...my 00-01 GSR b-pipe only used two bolts to connect to the cat. My 94-99 GSR b-pipe uses three.
