I am currently running an apexi N1 exhaust setup, and its loud as hell, a little to loud but i love the performance, i have talked to a few people to try to figure out what i can do to quite the exhaust down without losing any power... the most i have been able to come up with at this point is to replace the muffler with a flowmaster, magnaflow or something along those sorts, something that is hi flow but not loud...if anyone has any suggestions please add, i could use the advice.

 

comptech's exhaust flows fairly well although the piping is smaller than most (2.25")...there is a lot of options out there, just do some research...here's a guide to help you out

 

i wouldnt go with flowmaster... i would get the comptech as mentions by dfreezy... or with the apexi ws or rsr exhaust

 

One of the best ways to quiet down an exhaust without sacrificing power is to add another resonator, or more. The canister design of the n1 muffler doesn't do much for sound suppression either.

 

i have heard that flowmasters 40 series delta flow is pretty good dose anyone know anything at all about this muffle?

 

i suggest you to go with the tanabe hyper medallion it not too loud and not that quiet its just perfect. i have on my 99 gsr with a straight pipe and it sounds perfect.
