Exedy Clutches
How many people are running the OE exedy stock replacement clutch. How well is it holding up? I am trying to find a good deal on one but can't find it. It's crazy cause they sell a clutch kit on ebay for a 89 teg for $90 but my application they want $200. Does anyone know where i can get one cheap for a 1990 integra? thanks
i was using one on my gsr, when i replaced it with my ACT clutch it seemed alright for the abuse it took....it was a little blueish but it's still in good shape, i got the pressure plate too.....but too bad it won't fit a 1990....
it grabbed nice, not as good as my new one, but it performed

Im not a fan of Exedy at all.
From what Ive seen, they dont hold to decent power at ALL. If youre buying a clutch, may as well get one that can suit your needs in terms of modding down the road if you wish. Ive also seen a ton fail prematurely.
I would go for the ACT HDSS. Comfort for the street and bite for competition. Quality part as well. ACT =

I put the Exedy clutch in my 92 RS just a few thousand miles ago along with a rebuild... Compared to my worn out stock clutch, the difference was night and day after the break in. Quick grab, smooth engagement, grips like pretty hard if I slam it.
I'm running only minor mods and no serious power-adders, but I've heard of it running low boost turbo setups for thousands upon thousands of miles with no problems.
Clutchcity.com is where I got mine; I think it was $275 shipped (ooo, along with a free T-shirt,
). Their price may have changed, check it out though, quick service.

This clutch is for a stock b18b so i shouldn't have a problem. I just need to find a good price on one. $275 is wy to much for the clutch i want. For that price i would get a ACT. Does anybody know where to get this kit cheap. I can find any other application for less than $150 but for some reason the bastard knew i wanted this specific application so he jacked up the price.
