Evo vs. Integra
Which one do you guys think is more worth it? I am looking at selling my teg to get an Evo, but I am having trouble deciding. Which one has more potential in the long run? Do you think the Evo is worth the money, or should I just save and turbo my integra? Thanks.

i'd take an evo over a teg any day.</TD></TR></TABLE>

I have a 99ls. I was planning on boosting it here pretty soon, but then I started looking at the Evo. I mean the Evo is already turboed what else would there be to do? Build the internals, or what? I mean with the money I would spend on the Evo, my teg could have a shitload more hp than the Evo. But the Evo has way better handling. In the long run which would be better for a daily driver/ occasional track?
have you driven an Evo yet?? if not, do that...it will make you decision VERY easy!!! very, very sweet car(other than those cornball taillights)

I went up there Tuesday, and they told me if I come back with my dad (since I'm not an adult), and they would let me drive it. They just said it would be more of a serious drive if he came up there. So I know they will let me, but they said they will come along because your'e not allowed to go above like 3000 rpm, and they want to make sure you don't.

i'd be okay with that. if i knew a dealership did that, i wouldn't worry about buy a new car that had a greater number of miles on the clock (say 100+?)
i bought my car w/ 13 miles on it (i test drove 5 of them), so i wasn't too worried about anyone revving the crap out of it and hurting the break-in

Only reason to buy the 'teg is reliability. I just don't see the Evo being as reliable, but that's partly the kind of car it is - the kind that encourages thrashing.
I have a relevant question: are you mature enough to drive a car w/ nearly 300hp?
I can just see someone who is still so young the dealer makes them drive the car w/ their dad ending up either killing themself or wrecking the car.
Maybe you should put a couple grand down for a driver's school first, like Ferrari did w/ those purchasing its "F" cars.

Evo is AWD too, IIRC.

The STi is 35 though, I don't want to finance this for the rest of my life. What do you mean AWD owns in the winter? They are both AWD. And really it's not a dumb question. I mean yea the Evo is better, but it is a hella lot more money. And with all that extra money I could make my teg faster than the Evo. So please don't be a jackass.
I think you should stick with the TEG. With the money you would spend buying an evo you could have your motor fully built and if it is an LS I would say go turbo, if its not an LS stay all motor. Really if you put the money into your teg that you will just buying an evo, if you do it right your teg could be running 12's maybe 11's, just depends on what you do to it.

well to mee you sound like your already convinced on the idea of the Evo. i would get the evo if i were you. I mean you hav ean LS, at least if it were a type r it'd be closer, but yeah.. definetly get the evo dude. u WILL be happy.

yeah well i have an ls and i just talked to an evo owner whos already dropped 6k is his car, and i'll admit that its super nice. but its kinda hard to let everybody see it when its in the shop for piston slap. the reliability is what you will be paying for after you warranty runs out. sounds like its gonna have alot of the same problems as turbo eclipses.
