Default Everything needed for obd 1 conversion.

Hi, so I know how these forums are and I’m anxious about the judgement I’m going to get. But here we go lol. So I have a 1998 Acura Integra LS, just finished putting together everything, had my obd 1 socketed and chipped ecu plugged it and then the distributor went out. I wasn’t aware I had to get a conversion harness type of deal for the distributor as well since it’s made for obd 2. I was curious, what else do I need for the conversion. I can’t tune on my obd 2 so I’m trying to get everything together so I can tune it. And yes I am new to this but my car is being used so me and my friends can learn how to do a turbo on an Integra, as well as tune and all that fun stuff. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Easiest solution, get an OBD1 car. I have a 2000 Integra LS (OBD2B) and use an OBD2B to OBD1 jumper harness with a Chipped P28 Running Hondata and have zero issues.

so take apart all my turbo parts and buy a whole new car? This engine is perfectly good for this and runs amazing. I asked a simple question. This is why I avoid these forums in particular. I asked what parts are needed and you’re telling me to buy a new car lol. I’m just going to stick to reddit for questions like this, thanks.

Don't listen to people who don't know what they are talking about.!, You do realize all he needs to do is the same as you right? just using a OBD2A ECU harness... Your the reason people like him are afraid to come to a forum as such and get bad advise.

All you need is a OBDA to OBD1 ECU conversion harness Buy a OBD1 ECU and get a Hondata S300 chipped inside! don't run those shitty "Chipped" programs.

Your Distributor may have went out for other reasons.

If your using after market Injectors most are OBD1 style clips so a simple OBD2A to OBD1 conversion harness is what you need for the injectors, I like my Rywire ID 1,000 cc injector harness.
