I just got my car back from being fixed from a tragic incident with my motor. Since it's been fixed my car lets out a large puff of blue smoke (oil) when the v-tec kicks in at 4,000 rpm's and the so called noise of the valves opening at 6,000 rpm's doesn't happen.
If anybody knows what the hell I'm trying to say I am all open to suggestions. It's hard to have to read the problem rather than see it with your own eyes.

first of all, what did you do when you "fixed you engine"
i didn't know the valves were closed until 6,000 rpm's
seems like it'd be really hard to drive w/o the valves opening....
vtec engages at 4,400 not 4,000
you really didn't explain anything in detail, get some facts straight before you make an *** of yourself
i think you should sell your car because you have no idea what you're saying, buy a bicycle

Excuse me, i mean the secondaries do not function properly for some odd reason, is that better to understand NeoGSR.
I am sorry to say that the work i had done to my motor was a result of the intake taking on water and bending two of my rods and damaging two of my pistons. I would have liked to have got a new motor but money was the problem and i needed a car, so i had somebody fix the motor. But now it has been brought to my attention that he has never worked on many hondas and he thinks that v-tec is some kind of fancy word that they put on the valve cover.

Also, something not hooked up right for your IAB valves.
Sorry to be so vague, but after that kind of work you just can't find a screwup over the web... I didn't want to post a reply that was meaningless, but you kept bumping...
The Helms manual has specific tests to do for each of these systems, if you want to start DIY stuff. Or since your mechanic didn't seem to know Hondas that well, find somebody who does.

Well i am about take my car to a honda specialist. They have a diagnostic machine that they will hook my car up to, hopefully they will find the problem.
What exactly did he do to fix your motor, what parts did he replace, could be a couple of things, rings, valves, are you burning oil? Could be a bad seal?Best of luck with your problem. Get a compression check when you do take it to a honda tech specialist

Two new rods, claims to have a set of new piston rings, and whatever else you have to do to a flooded motor.

well it turns out that my knock sensor wire was hooked up to the wrong sensor, it was hooked up to the sensor underneath my intake manifold. And the wire for that sensor was just dangling, all this was confusing the ecu and it was sending the wrong message to the motor. My bud Paul (JRSCCivic98) and me got it hooked up right and then we realized that the knock sensor wasn't even there thus explaining why there was one wire dangling. Then i drove my car and everything ran better than normal except not having the knock sensor and i will get that soon.
So thanks for all the help guys
