Engine swap help b16a3
it will fit mechanically but the wiring is different. your 90 teg is non-OBD while your b16 is OBD1 or OBD2. Your gonna need to find a 88-91 JDM B16a non-OBD ECU, distributor, and some other ****. I don't think there's gonna be a way of making your car OBD1 or 2 unless you maybe get one of those ecu adapters. I would be a bitch though.
so if i take the wires out of the del sol and ecu, and put it in the teg will that work
what i'm trying to say is can i do a wire swap
i have the hole del sol car.

It is not that hard to convert your car to OBD1. I just did it on my '91. All you need is exhaust manifold, downpipe, 4 wire O2 sensor. If you have all of those things on the B16A and have the wiring harness and the ECU then all you will have to do is use the B16A wiring harness with the B16A ECU in the car. But as far as the differences go,
1) OBD1 and OBD0 cars differ in ECU
2) wiring harness distributor
3) fuel injectors (OBD0 have a resistor box and a ground for each injector at the ECU)
4) exhaust manifold (different collectors and OBD0 have the bung for the 02 sensor in the manifold as opposed to the downpipe on OBD1 integras)
5) downpipe
6) and there are some sensor differences but I converted mine in one night.
Kind of a bitch to splice like 40 some wires but I have had so much practice splicing wires it was actually rather easy. It even worked the first time I tried to start it
