Ok, does anyone else hear an odd engine noise when they start they're car after it's been warmed up? After I drive for a while, and turn the car off, when I start it back up I can hear like a frictiony sound coming from the head, sounds like the cam lobes aren't getttin enough oil so it makes a little noise for about a second or two,then it will go right away, the car runs perfect otherwise. NO oil consumption or burning.....I just can't tell what the hell it is.....

 

Probably just valvetrain noise...Tegs have noisy tappets anyway, but when was the last time you had your valve lash adjusted?

 

I hear the same noise as soon as I start my car. I was told it was that ABS. No big deal it is just anoying thats all.

 

Heh...well, I have no ABS...so it must be my valves.

 

definitely NOT the abs, that is very distinguishable.....did the valves about 25K ago...
I'll try that and see what happens

 

Well, valve adjustments should be ~every 30k. More if you wind on it. (Which means everyone )
