Default engine bay bolt sizes??

I'm trying to replace as many bolts in the bay as possible but I'm not sure what sizes I can use or if I have to use the oem size which I'm not even sure what they are. I look at passwordjdm and their fender bolts are 6m x 20..which they said are for like your lights and what not. So do i have to get 6m bolts or what? mainly right now I just want to do the bolts on the bumper but other sized would help too.

thanks

Take one of each out and place them in separate bags with labels, then go size them up at a hardware store. Best way i can think of. Also a Haynes Repair Manual is a good idea, they will let you know torque specs of most bolts as well.

all the bolts that hold the fenders on the hood on and all the one across you upper radiator support are a m6x1.0 bolt any bolt that uses a 10mm socket/wrench is a m6x1.0 and the 12mm bolt are an m8x1.25 i know this because i replaced all my bolts with stainless steel button head bolts so i use and alan wrench now and the ones for the valve cover if you pull the studs out are an m8x1.25 hope this helps you alot
