i got a 97 integra w/turbo setup. my eng. may be knocking. it sounds kinda like its wastegating. it does it at all rpms though and as the rpms increase, it does too. its not very loud. i have to turn of the music and listen hard to hear for it. its not throwing any CEL's. also when i noticed it, i checked my oil and it was about 3 quarters of a quart low. i added oil and it still does it. any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks a lot.

no did not increase cc's and never had the valves adjusted. or at least since i owned the car. bought it with 69,000 and it has 106,000 now. thanks for the input.

 

What would you say what highest RPMs you took your car to?

sounds like the beginning of a spun bearing maybe, but ltes not hope that....might be a valve adjustment...all hondas valves tick faintly at idle...if the valves didn't tick I would be like what is goin on here, but thats just my point of view
