Icon3 Electrical Issues - Power Draining

I've got a 1994 Integra LS - Does anyone here know anything about electrical, i.e How to completely remove the OEM alarm system from a 94 Teg? The alarm sound is cut on my car, so it's always going off (And I can't hear it). Problem is that when I park the car for a long period of time (Usually just even over night), it's seriously draining the battery as I can never start it in the morning because the alarm is always going off and I've had to jump it tons of times to get it to start.

When I try to turn on the car in the morning, after a night of sitting there. It has enough power to power ALL the electronics in the car, open the window, the sunroof.. etc.. I could turn the lights on.. the time displays.. but when I try to start the car it half turns over, then fades out more and more if I keep the key turned to try and get it to start.

I'm going to install an aftermarket alarm system in a month or so, but for now I need the battery not to die... so.. PLEASE .. advise stat!

Also, if you know a place that will take out the alarm system for me for cheap.. a couple friends were telling me that I could get it done for about 50$..? Any truth to that? I live in Toronto Ontario.

Also any other suggestions if you don't think that this is the reason the battery is dying are welcome.. please help.

why dont you just re install the horn, and then set your alarm accordingly ...? i am sorry but if you drive an integra you need an alarm, thats what i would do, and sounds alot easier than removing the alarm system.

well i'm sure the alarm is under the driver seat, i think you can just simply unplug it. I say this because on my 95 GSR when i bought it i found just a random loose harness under the seat, no alarm brain, and i found all my wires for the alarm system in that harness, plus, you would get about 10 times more help if you post this audio/video/alarm section

Because the alarm will constantly go off, its impossible to turn off the sound by my remote. I don't know why, that's just how it is. So the horn to the alarm is cut. I'm personally not worried about someone stealing my 850$ 94 Integra LS, I love it, but I'm not that worried. I'd rather be able to get to work and home everyday instead of taking the bus and paying 400$+ a month insurance for fun.

Either a link to a DIY for alarm removal for our cars, or someone can tell me how to REMOVE the alarm completely would be sweet. But otherwise.. just suggestions on temporary fixes.. anything for christ sakes lol. I need this car to start everyday, not sit in my garage with a dead battery cause of such a stupid thing.

Cut the siren out and cap the power wire. There is probably a fuse for it under the dash somewhere. Pull that out then there wont be anymore power to the siren. -Aaron

if you know where the brain is for the alarm, my OEM alarm was under my driver seat and i mounted it on my seat bracket so that could easily be accsessed, and once my alarm kept going off so i just unplugged it, but the car wont start if you unplug the brain.

So it's not under the driver seat.. I looked there.. there is a wire under the seat but I'm not sure what it's for.. I disconnected it regardless .. alarm was still on.. so I plugged it back in.

C'mon no one knows where I can find a link or something to figure this out?

You can either cut the wire leading to the alarm or you can unplug the brain of the alarm. The brain is under the steering column and has two wires coming out of it leading to a small harness near your left foot. Unplug the harness and the alarm should no longer work.
