Eibach pro-kit
Hey guys i want to buy the pro-kit for my car, what do you guys think about it?? will i need to do any other mods, i have 15" grs rims on there now, will it affect anything??? please help me out!!! email me at worloc918@aol.com
Eibach are good springs.. With the Pro-kit you can go without a camber kit... I run the Sportlines and have no camber kit.. You will want to get shocks within a few months if you cant afford them now, because the stockers cant hand the spring rates of the new springs.. I ran my stocks for 5 months without any probs, but some cant go for a month.... just depends some cars are different...
That sounds good. Make sure if it's a drop more that.. I'd say 1.75, a camber kit is a must. Just be sure you can get the things you need. Don't just install the springs, b/c Tire wear, suspension wear, etc. can happen wich will be costly.

I've got them on my 99GSR with, also with Koni yellows, I would recommend these(or atleast some other) aftermarket shock to go with them, they are nice, enjoy
Yeah great springs if you're gonna run 17 inch wheels. For some odd reason I did need a camber kit (just the front) on my sedan.. Maybe cause its heavier or something.. but you'll love it. Get some shocks while ur at it.
i have a set on my teg with the 15" stock wheels. no camber kit needed as i was just in spec. your toe setting is more important than camber when it comes to getting within spec.
i have some pics of the drop that i will try to put up tonight.

I had the Eibach Pro springs .. on 15" gsrz (95) with an alignment ... and
it still ate the inside of the tires up ... if you can visually see the rims leanin
in at the top .. its definately runnin on the inside of the tire ... civics arent as
bad ... im guessing cause they dont weight as much as Ntegs ??? camber
kit is $250-300 for all 4 ingalls check groupbuycenter.com ... get it and install it .. the same time you do the springs ... youll wish you had later if you dont
of course it also depends on how you drive ... if your just show .. and you
ride easy on em .,.. sure they will last longer without eating the insides
but if you got HP... and racing suspension .. and are rallying/speed every
time you drive to the store .. hehe it wears down A LOT faster
sorry i drive my honda hard fellas (:

Hey
I just got my alignment today and i am currently running eibach prokit springs and koni yellows on my integra. Its a nice ride with the koni though as you can adjust them if you wanted too.
But my question is before i had my alignment i could notice uneven wear on my tires. But now after an alignment i am pretty much back in spec. But my question is could i survive with out a camber kit? cuz rite now its like at -1 degree of camber and i will eventually get a camber kit though. Also, my toe in settings were out of wack before but now they have been aligned into factory spec.
Also, how are camber kits installed. would i require the shocks and springs to be removed once more from the chasis?
Also, with the eibach prokit on an 3 gen integra. i think you will be in spec but barely. so eventually if you want to get rid of that slight negative camber you should get a camber kit
i have a set on my 96 gsr, no probs at all. i didn't need a camber kit to keep me in spec.
as far as the Ingalls Camber kit install .... ok you Do not have to take out the Spring/shock Pillar ... altho it takes a little time .... the front Ingalls camber pieces come seperated (2 pieces each side) ... the stock 2 pieces are molded together with some kind of light metal... you have to bend the metal piece down and work the pieces out/down ... once you do one side and figure it out .. the other will come quick ... but you do not have to remove the spring/shock assmebly
the rears ... you will need a jack to position the pieces properly to bolt up ... but its not hard.... i never installed a camber kit in my life and figured it out ... its not too hard ... altho Ingalls camber kit has universal instructions .. and they suck ... but the actual Camber pieces were very quality and looked well made

well i appreciate your help, but after only 57 days here you seem to know more then me. i guess i forgot to mention that i work with a shop and have the machines to do my own alignments. but thanks for the wiseass remark, i am sure it's been helpful to someone.
what my first post didn't say was, i was within spec because i checked it
-Scary

Eibach Prokit is a good spring, but I think, IMHO, that its just a good stock replacement spring. On Integras that I have seen with them installed, it doesn't seem like there is much of a visual change. If you want a stiffer stock replacement, go with Pro-Kit. If you want no gap in the wheelwell, get the Sportlines. Koni Yellows are overkill for these springs but they are nice for the money. I don't think these progressive springs have very high spring rates. I ran stock shocks for two years before I blew them out on my 98 Integra GSR w/ stock rims. I didn't get a wheel alignment like every told me and I ended up running the inside of my front tires bald. Definitely get a wheel alignment after about a week after installing springs. I didn't have a camber kit for my suspension.
when someone registered has no bearing on how much intelligence they have .. your assuming everyone is coming in ignorant .. i have completly taken my integra apart and put it back together (including all engine internals) before i hit any of these message boards ... i used to be on pure honda for a good while before it closed up shop
as for you workin the shop .. i give ya propz .. we need all the gear headz in this form we can get
as for knowning more than you ? hehe i dunno ... i never said i did ... but i stand behind "any drop increment" you do effects your camber
no sweat scary (:

Hey
Do you think i can drive with about -1 degree of camber on the front wheels of my integra? with the proper toe in setting will i my tires still wear unevenly on the insides??
thanks

a camber kit .. will help to adjust the rim and with calibrating the camber kit
it pushes or pulls the top of the rim in or out .. if you drive easy ..and the rims dont lean in all that much and you keep the tires rotated regular ..keep the car aligned .. im sure the wear will be minute..
yea eibach pro springs are like -1.25 or something like that .. i had the same springs man ... the guy at the the shop said he can try top aligned it .. but had to kind of guess without a camber kit ... well eventually the pricey Michellin XGTz wore down unevenly .. and since i was buying new tires/rims ... i bought the ingalls kit .. sooo handle it how you wish **** just ride those tires out .. if
it doesnt wear bad .. sweet .. if it does... gives you an excuse to buy new rims and tires (;
